Challenge – The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) wanted to inspire its readers by building a tighter bond with cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers who read its publication, CR magazine.
Solution – After a renaming and development of a new content strategy, AACR re-launched its magazine as Cancer Today. The new media brand included a redesign of its print publication, media kit and a new website developed in SharePoint. We manage each issue’s design (cover-to-cover) including art and photography management. The redesigned magazine has received outstanding recognition by its readers and has won several design awards, including a Gold EXCEL Award for best magazine redesign, a Silver Ozzie Award for best redesign in the association/non-profit category, and a Bronze EXCEL award for best feature story design.
