Challenge – ICF International, a management, technology, and policy consulting firm, wanted to refresh its printed company Highlights brochure with an updated design. The Highlights brochure, similar to an annual report, shared the stories and the impact of ICF International’s work around the world over the past year. ICF came to Bates Creative to strategically determine how the brochure’s design could evolve to become a more dynamic marketing tool.
Solution – Bates Creative started this project by re-imagining the already established print brochure. After learning more about ICF’s goals for the project and mission for its clients, our team landed on the idea to transform the brochure into a responsively designed microsite. Evolving the print brochure to digital negated any costs or environmental implications associated with printing the brochure, which is aligned with ICF’s mission to help clients limit their environmental impact. A focus for the design of the microsite was to ensure that all company topics and stories were given equal importance in the way they were treated. The responsive website design enables ICF to share its content with a much broader audience because they can now access all of the content from any device at all times.
