Challenge – The United States Marine Corps has published Marines magazine in print since the early 1900s; however, with the changing digital landscape and the Department of Defense’s order to cease all print materials, the Marines had to change the way it communicated with its audience.
Solution – The U.S. Marine Corps—known for having guts—had the guts to go digital. We designed the Marines magazine tablet app using Adobe Digital Publishing Suite (DPS). Each folio of the app tells the stories of the Marines in action around the world. Through interactive maps, high-def video, animation, 360-degree views and direct links to social media outlets, we created an irresistible Experience Under Glass, allowing the Marines to reach and engage its target audience of enlisted Marines, their families, and potential recruits globally.
