digitalNow Conference

We are in the thick of the digital age, and while it’s a powerful time, it’s posing new challenges for businesses. Join our president Mark DeVito at this year’s digitalNow Conference, the summit for association leaders featuring a three-day agenda that addresses critical issues facing association leaders in the digital age. Noted for his thought leadership on digital media and marketing, Mark has been tapped by digitalNow to lead a workshop session and participate on a panel of association executives at the conference.

Your Brand, Your Content…Your Future

Mark will be joined by Laura Lewis, CMO of CREW Network, to host a workshop session on Tuesday, April 16th, covering how associations are connecting digital publishing efforts to their brand purpose and brand positioning. As the discussion unfolds, attendees will learn the benefits of how a workshop can seamlessly align brand goals through this first-hand experience at the conference, answering today’s pressing question for brands: is your brand aligning content/publishing to its audience, or is the audience defining it?

Through this workshop, Mark and Laura will discuss why brands need a strong brand strategy and identity, how you can test it, and how to ensure external communication tactics and content match where you’re headed. They’ll discuss the changing face of our audience and how to continue to build it, challenging budgets, and what you can to do to drive change. This workshop will be facilitated with break out groups and tangible outcomes that attendees can bring back to their organizations. Attendees are encouraged to bring challenges into the room and be ready to discuss tactics to overcome.

NeXT Session IV “Future of Publishing…Product is the New Content”

Mark will be joined by panelists David Metcalf, Ph.D., Institute for Simulation and Training at the University of Central Florida; Jessica Perry, Chief Digital Officer at the Society for Human Resource Management;

Pamela van Giessen, Vice President Strategic Partnerships at Wiley; and moderator Ellen Moore, Former CEO AAOS to unpack this topic on Monday, April 15th from 2:30 to 4:00pm.

This year’s conference “Leadership in the Digital Age,” covers a number of pressing topics, including how to assess digital transformation, how to identify the technologies that will change the face of your association, how to cultivate the right culture, the future of learning, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and much more. DigitalNow is driven by survey data, research, focus groups, and conversations with the trailblazers in the association world. The conference welcomes C-Level association and volunteer leaders from the most influential professional, non-profit, and trade associations in America to register for this strategic and insightful event. Attendance for the event is limited to 250 registrants, to keep discussions intimate and engaging.
