They Get Me: How to Sharpen Your Publishing Strategy with Personas

How well do you know your members? Do you know their goals, challenges, values, and drivers? Our director of marketing, Amanda McCarthy, and content strategist and copywriter, Danielle Moore, will dig into the importance of audience personas on Thursday, April 4th in Washington, D.C. during a Lunch & Learn, part of Association Media & Publishing event series.

Amanda and Danielle will lead an interactive discussion around the benefits of putting yourself in your members’ shoes, understanding their interests, and knowing which content resonates with them on the right channels. The duo will finish off the session with a workshop that walks attendees through the persona development process.

Amanda’s expertise lies in inspiring brands to take action and aligning brand values to audiences. She motivates brands to explore new tactics and methods of connecting with audiences by using art, data, and science to create customer-first experiences that serve a purpose. Danielle’s world revolves around words. She dives into strategies to elicit consumer responses through compelling stories, with a style falling in between refreshingly real and strategically savvy.

What should attendees bring? An open mind and a pen. The Lunch & Learn challenges Association Media & Publishing members to broaden their horizons and think outside the box to create data-driven personas that will help sharpen how publishing and content marketing teams alike can connect with members.
